NDIGBO CELEBRATES MOTHERS DAY 2006 IN BOSTON
All roads will on Saturday May 13, 2006 lead to Holiday Inn in Dedham Massachusetts for the much expected Party hosted by Igbo Organization of New England, Inc. for Igbo Mothers. This event has been building in expectation as visitors are expected from far and wide. Speaking to the scheduled MC of the occasion, Ms. Ruth Amadi, she stated that she was elated and ready to celebrate the Igbo Woman on the scheduled event night that will feature music by DJ Goddy Echebiri of Randolph, MASS. The president of Igbo Organization of New England Chief Richard Obilor and his counterpart presidents from Worcester MASS, Chief Phillip Ekeson, AND THE Rhode Island President Chief Alex Njoku will be on hand to lend support to the event. Also billed to address Igbo Women as keynote speaker is the Current Simmons College President, Ms. Jackie Kenkins-Scott. It is an event that will showcase the best Igbo Women in New England. Special guest of the day will be Mrs. Oruh, the current Chairperson of World Igbo Congress Convention planning committee, on a special tour to Boston to review plans in the work for the hosting of World Igbo Congress in Boston scheduled for August 30, 2006 to September 2, 2006 at Copley Marriot Hotel in Boston.
